This training course focuses on building knowledge based on theories that pave the way for the practical practice of future foresight applications. The trainee will learn about the methods and tools used in future foresight. The trainee will also be able to identify the drivers of change in his work environment and how to classify them in a way that serves the strategic plan and the foresight plan. He will be able to build future scenarios based on the ambiguous drivers through which he can form perceptions of the possible opportunities or potential threats he may face, which contributes to enhancing his readiness in preparation for what is coming and thus reducing the severity of surprise in the future.

Methodology
This course relies on the use of interactive case studies to demonstrate the different components of futures studies. In addition, this course utilizes individual debriefs, group discussions, role-playing scenarios, videos, and presentations.
