Rules and Procedures of International and Domestic Arbitration

Why Attend

International arbitration is one of the most important means of resolving disputes outside the courts. Dispute resolution is no longer the exclusive domain of state courts. Since ancient times, individuals have agreed to submit their problems or disputes to private individuals called “arbitrators” The disputants are obligated to respect the resolutions these arbitrators deem appropriate.

Objectives

Providing scientific and technical knowledge and practical skills for arbitration systems of various types in light of the laws of Arab countries, especially Egyptian law and the laws of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and in light of international agreements related to arbitration and UNCITRAL law.

Methodology

This course uses a variety of group discussions along with individual and group exercises. A number of written exercises will also be used throughout the course.
