Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Introduce participants to the nature and types of different tax systems, and the tax collection process cycle from the inception of financial transactions to the preparation and presentation of tax returns.
Introduce participants to the latest amendments to the Value Added Tax (VAT) laws in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Provide participants with skills in calculating value-added tax (VAT) and preparing and presenting tax returns in accordance with the latest requirements and publications of tax laws in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Develop participants' skills in using computers to calculate VAT and understand the challenges of implementation in the Arab world.
