Contract Management - Advanced

Why Attend

There is no doubt that contract management is of great importance and is in no way less important than the other stages of the contract, whether the negotiation stage, the drafting stage, or the implementation stage, which requires the need to develop an effective strategy for contract management, whether the local or foreign contract, in a way that guarantees the success of the projects subject to the contract, regardless of the different types of contracts. What is unavoidable is that planning, effective control, and firm control are necessary for managing contracts in a flexible manner in all contracting steps, starting with specifications, conditions, negotiations, submitting bids, and then the cost settlement stage. Deciding on offers and award procedures, notifying them, and ending with the full and correct implementation of the contract. Change orders and contractual claims related to construction contracts require the need to know the types of change orders, their conditions, the right holder to issue them, the timing of issuing the order, and its value. As well as defining the claim, the strategy for entering into it, the parties to contractual claims, the sources of claims in the field of construction, and the clauses that must be included in the claim for each matter separately. All of these aspects must be studied and a combination of theory and practice regarding them must be made in order to achieve the desired benefit. In addition to what has been presented, arbitration, as a quick and effective means of resolving disputes that may arise from contracts, has become an inevitable necessity whenever a dispute arises between the contracting parties regarding the implementation or interpretation of the contract.
